The story of August 2026
August opened in clusters rather than a single rush. Every listed date from the 3rd through the 7th except the 6th carried multiple releases, with Korean albums and singles joined by TWS's Japanese single SODA SODA. Stray Kids framed that opening stretch with SKZ-REPLAY 2026 Pt.1 on the 1st and THIS & THAT on the 7th, when ARTMS and DAWN also released at 13:00 KST.
The calendar tightened again from August 17 through the 24th, with a release on every weekday and the month's busiest date on the 19th. That peak mixed Korean singles, EPs and ONEWE's full album 面 : Unknown Atlas with Japanese releases from TOMORROW X TOGETHER and ZEROBASEONE. ENHYPEN's THE SIN : BLISS followed on the 21st with title track "Bloody Paradise"; the DARK MOON explainer adds context to that release. August 24 then formed the month's other major cluster, stretching from CORTIS at 00:00 KST to a broad 18:00 KST block.
The closing week changed shape day by day. August 26 crossed regions and formats as SF9's full album TENACITY shared the date with TWICE's Japanese best album #BEST 2015-2025 and RIIZE's Japanese single "Sunburst." August 27 kept the calendar digital with HITGS and TNX. On August 28, JENNIE's digital EP Fallen Angel opened the date at 13:00 KST before iii's single "WaiT" landed at 18:00 KST; after a clear weekend, TAEMIN's album PHASE 1 : Soft Violence and HYORISOO's single "Skibidi" close the month on the 31st at 18:00 KST. Every confirmed date, time and title track is in the list below, and the August preview walks through the month in detail.
