How We Verify

A release calendar is only useful if you can trust it. This page explains the rules used for new and corrected entries on KpopComebacks, the limits of the source records shown on older cards, and what happens when we get something wrong.

The rules

Source links on release cards

Where source records are available, a release card includes a Sources section with links and a checked date. That date records when we checked the sources, not when the site was built or the music was released. Older entries are still being documented; a card without this section does not have a published source record yet.

Corrections we've made

Cross-checking is not hypothetical — schedule sources get things wrong, and catching that is most of the work. Recent examples, exactly as they happened:

Spot something we got wrong? Send the release, disputed detail, and source. Correction reports are checked against the same rules before the calendar changes.

How we use AI tools

We use AI tools to help research, draft and check content. Monthly previews and calendar summaries are generated from the release information used by the calendar, then checked for data mismatches and reviewed before publication. If a pipeline review fails, its changes are held for manual review instead of being treated as published work.

Guides, lore articles and Spotlight pieces also use AI assistance. Where an article relies on an external factual source, we aim to link that source beside the relevant claim. Interpretation is labeled as interpretation rather than presented as official canon.

Automated checks can catch some inconsistencies, but they can also miss mistakes. An AI review is not the same as a person checking every claim. We correct errors when they are identified, and the site operator remains responsible for what is published.

Who's responsible

YUJU runs KpopComebacks and is responsible for its content and corrections. Monthly previews carry the site's name to distinguish them from the other articles. If you find an error, please send the details and a source so we can check it.
