The story of September 2026

September puts most of its weight at the front. The weekday runs from the 1st through the 4th and the 7th through the 11th were crowded with albums and singles; the 9th drew the month's biggest cluster, crossing Korean and Japanese releases. Release times varied too: September 4 stretched from 09:00 to 18:00 KST, while the 7th gathered its entire line-up at 18:00 KST around SOYEON (i-dle)'s full album 끝내주는 인생 (What a Wonderful Life). IU's 이 별로부터 followed on the 10th.

The pace eased into smaller clusters around mid-month. September 14 put Japanese releases alongside Korean albums and singles, with IRENE & SEULGI (Red Velvet)'s Japanese mini album Cheetah sharing the date with The Volunteers' full album i love u. The 15th gathered Korean releases at 18:00 KST; Japanese titles dominated the 16th, with Redoor's mini album Memory adding a Korean release. September 18 keeps to Korean releases but spreads them across the day, from ROSÉ's new trick at 08:00 KST through HONGJOONG (ATEEZ) at 13:00 KST to CLOSE YOUR EYES and SORAN at 18:00 KST. After the more widely spaced dates on September 21 and 23, the calendar builds a daily run from the 25th through the 30th. dearALICE's UK EP dancefloorKILLA shares the 25th with a Korean single from Hi-Fi Un!corn, before Korean releases fill the 26th through the 29th, including BOYNEXTDOOR's repackaged HOME: DELUXE on the 28th. The 30th mixes Japanese titles with Korean mini albums from CLOSE YOUR EYES and CRAVITY.
